Carb-X 1000 contains white kidney bean, which helps fight the
assimilation of starches and helps inhibit the conversion of dietary
starch to glucose. A carbohydrate blocker does not inhibit absorption
of vitamins and/or minerals.
While the quantity of carbohydrates ingested is part of the
equation, the bigger picture is how the body metabolizes them. In most
cases, keeping carbohydrates in balance with a healthy
diet and exercise is the ticket. Why? Because glucose not transformed
into useful energy ends up as body fat and can cause havoc
in the rest of the body as well.
